Song Lyrics

WASHED

I've been washed in the water, washed in the blood
I'm as good as new; oh, hallelujah
I've been washed in the water, washed in the blood
All because of You; oh, hallelujah

And, I'm clean; sin was stained on me
And shame was running deep
But, love was spilled on Calvary; oh, hallelujah
I'm clean, and God, how can it be?
I'm ransomed and redeemed
And standing in Your victory; oh, hallelujah

I've been washed in the water, washed in the blood
I'm as good as new; oh, hallelujah
I've been washed in the water, washed in the blood
All because of You; oh, hallelujah

I'm clean; it's not what I have done
But what You've done for me
You paid it all upon that tree; oh, hallelujah
I'm clean; Your love has overcome
And Your mercy is supreme
I'm dancing in Your victory; oh, hallelujah

I've been washed in the water, washed in the blood
I'm as good as new; oh, hallelujah
I've been washed in the water, washed in the blood
All because of You; oh, hallelujah

I've been washed in the water, washed in the blood
I'm as good as new; oh, hallelujah
I've been washed in the water, washed in the blood
All because of You; oh, hallelujah

'Cause You took away my shame
And You nailed it to the cross
You got me running out the grave
Oh, hallelujah, here I come

'Cause You took away my shame
And You nailed it to the cross
You got me running out the grave
Oh, hallelujah, here I come

'Cause You took away my shame
And You nailed it to the cross
You got me running out the grave
Hallelujah, here I come

'Cause You took away my shame
And You nailed it to the cross
You got me running out the grave
Hallelujah, here I come

Hallelujah, here I come; hallelujah, here I come
Hallelujah, here I come; hallelujah, here I come

Halle, halle, hallelujah
Halle, halle, hallelujah
Halle, halle, hallelujah
Thank you Jesus!

I've been washed in the water, washed in the blood
I'm as good as new; oh, hallelujah
I've been washed in the water, washed in the blood
All because of You; oh, hallelujah

GRACE ALONE

I was an orphan, lost at the fall
Running away when I'd hear You call
But Father, You worked Your will
I had no righteousness of my own
I had no right to draw near Your throne
But Father, You loved me still

And in love, before You laid the world's foundation
You predestined to adopt me as Your own
You have raised me up so high above my station
I'm a child of God by grace, and grace alone

You left your home to seek out the lost
You knew the great and terrible cost
But Jesus, Your face was set
I worked my fingers down to the bone
Nothing I did could ever atone
But Jesus, You paid my debt

By Your blood, I have redemption and salvation
Lord, You died that I might reap
what You have sown
And You rose that I might be a new creation
I am born again by grace, and grace alone

I was in darkness all of my life
I never knew the day from the night
But Spirit, You made me see
I swore I knew the way on my own
Head full of rocks, a heart made of stone
But Spirit, You moved in me

At Your touch, my sleeping spirit was awakened
On my darkened heart the light of Christ has shone
Called into a kingdom that cannot be shaken
Heaven's citizen by grace, and grace alone

So, I'll stand in faith by grace, and grace alone
I will run the race by grace, and grace alone
I will slay my sin by grace, and grace alone
I will reach the end by grace, and grace alone

WHAT A FRIEND

When I look back on my life, it isn't hard to see
the hand of the Divine
ever guiding me
The brightest days, the darkest nights
And everything between
Lord, how good You've been

Oh, what a friend I've found in Jesus
Oh, what a hope I have in my Savior's love
My first and last defense
My help, my righteousness
What a friend I've found

When I think of all the times
That You’ve been there for me
Your Word has been the light
That helped me find my feet
Your steady hand, Your faithfulness
How constant You have been
Oh, it's not hard to sing

Oh, what a friend I've found in Jesus
Oh, what a hope I have in my Savior's love
My first and last defense
My help, my righteousness
What a friend I've found

Ev’ry high, ev’ry low
Should waves arise, where the sea billows roll
I have a friend
So, no matter what life throws
It is well, it is well
It is well with my soul

Ev’ry high, ev’ry low
Should waves arise, where the sea billows roll
I have a friend
So, no matter what life throws
It is well, it is well
It is well with my soul

It is well, it is well
It is well with my soul

Singin’ oh, what a friend I've found in Jesus
Oh, what a hope I have in my Savior's love
My first and last defense
My help, my righteousness
What a friend I've found

YOU ARE MY ALL IN ALL

You are my strength when I am weak
You are the treasure that I seek
You are my all in all
Seeking You as a precious jewel
Lord, to give up I'd be a fool
You are my all in all

Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your Name
Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your Name

Taking my sin, my cross, my shame
Rising again, I bless Your Name
You are my all in all
When I fall down, You pick me up
When I am dry, You fill my cup
You are my all in all

Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your Name
Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your Name

Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your Name
Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your Name

Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your Name
Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your Name

Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your Name
Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your Name

Worthy is Your Name
Worthy is Your Name

I THANK GOD

Wand’ring into the night, wanting a place to hide
This weary soul, this bag of bones
And I try with all my might
But, I just can't win the fight
I'm slowly driftin’, a vagabond

And just when I ran out of road
I met a Man I didn't know
And He told me that I was not alone

He picked me up, He turned me around
He placed my feet on solid ground
I thank the Master, I thank the Savior
Because He healed my heart
He changed my name
Forever free, I'm not the same
I thank the Master, I thank the Savior, I thank God

I cannot deny what I’ve seen
Got no choice but to believe
My doubts are burnin’ like ashes in the wind
So, so long to my old friends: burden and bitterness
You can just keep it movin’
No, you ain't welcome here

From now, 'til I walk streets of gold
I'll sing of how You saved my soul
This wayward son has found his way back home

He picked me up, He turned me around
He placed my feet on solid ground
I thank the Master, I thank the Savior
Because He healed my heart
He changed my name
Forever free, I'm not the same
I thank the Master, I thank the Savior, I thank God

Hell lost another one, I am free
Oh, I am free, I am free
Hell lost another one, I am free
Oh, I am free, I am free
Hell lost another one, I am free
Oh, I am free, I am free
Hell lost another one, I am free
Oh, I am free, I am free

Hell lost another one, I am free
Oh, I am free, I am free
Hell lost another one, I am free
Oh, I am free, I am free
Hell lost another one, I am free
Oh, I am free, I am free
Hell lost another one, I am free
Oh, I am free, I am free

He picked me up, He turned me around
He placed my feet on solid ground
I thank the Master, I thank the Savior
Because He healed my heart
He changed my name
Forever free, I'm not the same
I thank the Master, I thank the Savior, I thank God

He picked me up, He turned me around
He placed my feet on solid ground
I thank the Master, I thank the Savior
Because He healed my heart
He changed my name
Forever free, I'm not the same
I thank the Master, I thank the Savior, I thank God
