WHAT DOES A TYPICAL SUNDAY MORNING LOOK LIKE AT ESKids?
We offer Children’s Church programming during our 9:00am Worship Service for infants age 6 weeks - grade 5. We offer Children's Church for our preschool-age kids (age 3 - Pre-K) only in our 10:30am service. Upon arrival at our campus, check your family in at our Welcome area. Once you and your children have your matching name tags and claim ticket, kids can be dropped off at their rooms. Our volunteers will direct you to where you need to go.
Our babies and toddlers (6 weeks – 35 months) are cared for in the nursery, where your child will experience fun learning activities with others his or her age, and will receive focused attention from our loving leaders.
Preschoolers (aged 3-5 years) and elementary (K-5th grades) all participate in Children’s Church. They are divided by age into small groups where they can ask questions, have a blast, and learn about Jesus in a way that connects with them on their level.
During the first 30 minutes of Children's Church, our kids enjoy Rally Time! Rally Time is an exciting and energy-filled start to Children’s Church where all ages experience fun activities, exciting worship music and movement, a Bible lesson, and some introductory discussion. After Rally Time, the kids move into small group activities, application of the lesson, discussion, and prayer.
WHAT'S NEXT?
We would love to see you and your family at East Swamp Church. We welcome new families every week, so come anytime!
When you arrive, look for the Welcome area. There, you’ll be greeted by a friendly volunteer who will help you register your children in our system, and then one of our volunteers will lead you and your child to their age appropriate room.
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information.
(NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone.)
- Parent/Guardian name(s)
- Child’s Name
- Child’s birth date and current grade
- Home address
- Email address
- Parent/Guardian Cell Phone Number (to reach you in an emergency)
- Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
You’ll be handed a sticker with your child’s name, their room number, the unique ID number that is used to page you if your child would happen to need you during the service, and a matching sticker for you to hold on to.
Safety and security are important to us. When you return to pick up your child, we’ll make sure the numbers on your ticket match your child’s sticker before dismissing them from class.
WHO IS TAKING CARE OF MY CHILD AT ESKids?
We have an incredible team of East Swamp Kids volunteers. Our volunteers are background checked and trained. They are our heroes, who show up each week to connect with your kids; and every week we make sure they have what they need to do a great job! If you’re a new parent to ESKids, the volunteers working with your child’s age group will be happy to introduce themselves and answer any questions you might have.
WHAT ELSE DOES ESKids HAVE TO OFFER?
At ESKids, we believe connection is important for kids, but for you, too. We offer different programs and activities throughout the year to foster these connections, where you can meet and interact with East Swamp families or families in the community while your kids connect with their friends, or just make some great memories together. We do some things just for FUN – like our Fall Fest and Family Fun Nights; some things to foster discipleship – like our Family Dedication Experience and summer kids’ camps; and we offer opportunities for your family to serve together in the community – such as the Quakertown Easter Egg Hunt or Christmas Tree Lighting. Check back here (see calendar dates below) to see what you can get involved with!
